About Buckeye,AZ
Buckeye was founded in 1888 as a small farming town, originally named Sidney. It was later renamed after the Buckeye Canal, built by settlers from Ohio, the Buckeye State.
At the turn of the millennium, in the year 2000, Buckeye had a modest population of just over 6,500. Since then, the city has experienced explosive growth becoming one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. By 2025, the population soared to over 120,000 residents and it's projected to continue climbing rapidly in the coming years.
Buckeye has consistently ranked among the Top 10 Fastest-Growing Cities in America, and it’s easy to see why it’s a vibrant, family-friendly city with a strong sense of community and vast potential.

Our mission is to establish a Jewish center that will provide a warm and welcoming space for all the Jews of Buckeye, no matter their affiliation, age, or background. Services such as Classes, Shabbat and holiday dinners, events, programs, and services will be provided to help Jews connect with their Judaism.
